 When is the best time to book?

We recommend tentatively booking as early as possible due to the limited spots we hold available due to the nature of this session type.
Once your due date is set we will tailor our contact with regular "check-ins" to better understand where you are at with your birth journey.
Depending on the your chosen hospital, midwife or birth place we will have appropriate documentation and insurances lodged 
pre-emptively for a smooth coordination with your health care professionals. 

 What will happen in the session?

With every birth comes a new and beautiful journey full of surprises, side quests and milestones to capture.
No two births will ever be the same and for good reason, this is your story!
My aim is to capture every second of this beautiful tale in as much detail as possible, highlighting the highs, lows and every emotion in-between. Capturing the connection between you and your birth partner/team will always be a priority whilst aiming to document each milestone in as much detail as requested. 

When do I call my photographer? 

I will be in touch at regular intervals leading up to your birth, keeping an open dialog and tailoring the planned outcome you desire. 
Depending on your pregnancy history, medical professional updates and location I will usually attend the hospital when you start your

"active labor" at 5cm-6cm dilation.  

What happens if I have to have an emergency C Section? 

Depending on your chosen hospitals protocol, we may or may not be able to capture this part of your journey. 
As for the photographic outcome, your images prior to this event will be supplied at a reduced rate to compensate the desired outcome when initially booking your session.  

What happens if my photographer is not available when im giving birth?
Unlike other session types we offer, our birth coverage is 7 days a week on call and takes priority over other sessions booked. 
The only event in wich a birth will be missed is if I am shooting a wedding or something unavoidable happens. 
In this case your booking fee/deposit will be completely refunded.

 What will I receive from the session?

Your images will be available to you within 3-4 weeks from your session date, at that time you will receive 60-120 high resolution fully edited images available to you in color and black/white. 

These images are sent to you via our online system Drop box so that you can save, print and share as much as you like.

When requested we can upload a copy of ALL of your unedited files FREE OF CHARGE for you to keep post session!

 Please note your $55 booking fee is an addition cost to the image package. 

Booking fee's and deposits are non-refundable if cancellation is made however a store Credit/Gift Voucher may be offered.
